This past month, CureMD hosted its largest and most successful User Conference to date. The 1000+ strong guest list that comprised of clients, health care experts and CureMD partners were hosted by the company’s top brass, client service consultants, IT experts and account managers.
During the two-day event, attendees were briefed by industry experts on the latest healthcare developments and requirements via 40+ interactive and informative sessions on topics including ICD-10, Meaningful Use Stage 2, PQRS, ACOs, HIPAA & Health Information Exchange.
The guests attentively listened to these lectures, others even made notes; and numerous questions were asked at the end of each session, especially those regarding ICD-10 and how it would affect practice workflows.

CureMD UC’ 14 also hosted several sessions on the company’s latest products, services and achievements. CureMD’s newest solution, the 10g, was amongst the topics discussed, as was the portable version of an EHR –Avalon, the company’s iPad app. Apart from achieving Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification, 10g offers enhanced usability, interoperability, care coordination, and improved patient engagement.
The occasion also saw the unveiling of CureMD ICE, a state-of-the-art software platform seamlessly integrated with the CureMD EHR, which will also allow for the movement of data across health care institutions irrespective of their EHRs.

With guests from around the country flocking to New York to attend this event, CureMD was determined to make sure that their New York experience was perfect; accommodation at discounted rates in prestigious hotels including the Ritz-Carlton and the Millennium Hilton. These centrally located hotels enabled attendees to explore the city before, after and even in-between sessions.

And the sessions didn’t last all day, so CureMD had arranged a fully entertaining and unwinding social events after the close of sessions each evening. CureMD Jeopardy, an interactive quiz, was one of the events that the participants thoroughly enjoyed.

Apart from their recreational appeal, these events helped professionals boost their networking links, and many of our clients were seen sharing common problems, exchanging contact numbers, and discussing health care developments.

There was also an awards ceremony to appreciate the efforts of clients who had demonstrated exceptional usage of CureMD products and services; winners included Kamelhar Pulmonary Medicine for the fastest MU achiever, Advance Medical Office which won e-Prescriber of the year, and Highland Park Medical which bagged the prestigious Practice of the year award.
Furthermore, participants returning to their strenuous routines were given the perfect goodbye in the shape of a relaxing cocktail reception, where many un-winded and socialized with other industry stakeholders and experts.
