America’s biggest dermatology meeting is right around the corner, and CureMD is all set to go! Yes, I’m talking about the 73rd annual American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) meeting, which is expected to host 16,800 guests from different parts of the world.
The event where detailed discussion will take place on topics related to dermatology, medicine, and health, will be held between March 20 and 24 in San Francisco’s renowned Moscone Center.
Why should you attend?
Apart from educational sessions conducted by industry experts, covering the latest developments the world of dermatology has to offer, the gathering will allow attendees to network and build long lasting professional bonds with experts and contemporaries from across the country.
The most anticipated talk will be on March 20, at 2 10 pm PST on healthcare reforms this year (ICD-10 alert), and how they will affect the field of dermatology. And that isn’t all, hundreds of exhibitors displaying their products and services will be lined up on a dedicated exhibition floor.
What I’m looking forward to?
- American Medical Association (AMA) President-elect Steven Stack, MD, who’ll become the youngest AMA president in the last 100 years, is one of the guest speakers. He’s been a part of several federal advisory groups for the ONC, and has achieved a lot in little time; he’s an inspiration for a lot of people including myself.
- There will also be a session on the “Role of Dermatologist in Management of Skin Disease in Solid Organ Transplant Recipients.” I’m particularly interested in their insights on developing a skin disease care management plan for solid organ transplant recipients, and detecting and treating aggressive skin cancer associated with these recipients.
- Then there’s also the annual meeting symposium on Chronic Pruritus, in which attendees will have access to tools for pruritus assessment in clinical settings, and for a comprehensive analysis into the pathophysiology of chronic itch.
Why is AAD important for CureMD?
Here at CureMD, we support every platform that facilitates constructive developments in the healthcare industry. AAD is the biggest of these platforms for Dermatology.
We also have a special affiliation with the AAD, as our state-of-the-art Dermatology Electronic Health Record system (EHR) was launched at the 2012 edition of this meeting.
Booth #5586: how can you benefit from CureMD at AAD?
At AAD’15 our representatives will address all your queries about EHRs, increasing practice efficiency, the latest government regulations, and how our Dermatology-specific EHR and Practice Management system (for medical billing) helps practices achieve all of this with ease.
Our state-of-the-art Dermatology EHR, which was developed after collaboration with several leading dermatologists, comes equipped with specs including full body charts, auto notes, and numerous customizable specialty-specific templates, including those for Botox, fillers and laser surgery.
